[MID] Discount Scenario- Which Value Pick?

There is currently positioning for 1 Value Pick and 1 Rookie (possibly a value pick if salary cap allows).

Priority 1: Liam Anthony, averaged 95, likely to have a 40-50% discount.

Priority 2: Hamish Hartlett, averaged 79, likely to have a 30-40% discount. However Hamish is injury prone (a preseason injury will end his chances in the squad.) If salary cap allows it he will be up for selection in the rookie position of the midfield.

Priority 3: Leroy Jetta, averaged 73, possibly will have a 10% discount. If salary cap allows it he will be up for selection in the rookie position of the midfield.

Priority 4: Shaun Grigg, averaged 84, likely to have a 10-20% discount. If available in [DEF] he will be up for selection as a value pick. If salary cap allows it he will be up for selection in the rookie position of the midfield.

    i like it mate 🙂

similar set up to my tema but probably with different players filling the gaps.

    just some questions 🙂

shaun grigg has a good average and i can see him breaking out next year. however, why did he miss games. i would feel better getting him if he missed through injury as opposed to missing through simply being dropped. also MPP with him and gibbs would be very handy.

hamish hartlett. very injury proned but i like him. he was a high draft pick and he will be a unique pick if we can keep him quiet. where will his price be next year would you think mate?

thanks mate good as always 🙂

  2. Grigg missed games due to injury, i believe? but when he returned he was in the best each week. He played 8 games so (going by this years discounts) his discount will be 10%. Going by this years average 83×4394 (this years magic number). His price next year (going by this years magic number and discounts) he will cost around 330K.

On the other hand Hartlett played only 4 games! so he will (again going by 2010 discounts) have a 40-50% discount. Say he has a 40% discount and going by this years magic number and his 2010 average of 79, he should be around 210K! sounds great to me 😀
